The Glass Academy is a dream project since 2017. It took 5 years to get here, years in which we gathered experience and courage, equipment and people, and in which we did not stray from the path.

Those who already know us under the name Gradina Sticlarilor know that we dreamed of being what Curtea Sticlarilor once was, a small glass workshop that enchants passersby in the old center of Bucharest with the magic of glass.

How the glass industry that once flourished in Romania,

It's gone, and we've been put in the position of practicing an art and a craft that no longer has a context or a market. As a result, we've chosen to start promoting this wonderful art, for which we still have living craftsmen.

Starting with workshops dedicated to children and adults, designed only as short forays into the world of fire and glass to the production of unique pieces, the workshop hosts multiple ways of presenting and interacting with glass.
