Workshops for children
Because the days when we learn something new always remain vivid in our memories,
We invite children to discover with us the fascinating world of glass, a material that is as versatile as it is unknown to many.
We engrave on glass
Little ones can practice their creativity by engraving their favorite figurines, numbers, letters or favorite animal on glass. We present glass for what it truly is, a friendly, reusable material that can easily be transformed into a work of art.
We color glass
Glass balloons come to life and color through different painting techniques. Little ones will learn about the relationship between colors and the transparency of glass and will be able to create ornaments to keep or give as gifts.
We process lampshades
We will continue the workshop by working on the lamp, where we will learn to make objects with our hands and shape glass rods into imagined and unimagined shapes.
In Kindergartens and Schools
Our aim is to introduce the world of glass to children in a different educational day through our workshops. It is an introductory course recommended for children from 3 years old.
We can hold these workshops at our location or we can travel to an environment familiar to the little ones.
The cost is 40 lei/participant, all materials being included. Depending on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop varies between 3 and 4 hours. For a good course, we recommend the presence of teachers.
A few words about us
We are perhaps the last group of glassmakers in the southern part of Romania, composed of young graduates of the National University of Art in Bucharest, Ceramics - Glass - Metal department, and glass craftsmen with over 4 decades of experience working with glass.
We are recommended by our over 5 years of glass workshops for children and adults, held both around our melting furnace and in other unconventional spaces.
