Glass recycling - old objects in new form

In a world of speed and waste, in a period of time that is too short, each of us stops at one thing that we see potential in and keeps it. We put it on the top shelf and hope that one day it will find the spotlight that will make it shine. A perfume bottle, or maybe one left over from a rare drink, a jar that is too elongated, or maybe a container with an atypical shape, all of these objects have had their time to relaunch on the scene under a different name, shape, concept. For two consecutive days we gather in the workshop to bring our favorite glass objects back to life. We start by introducing ourselves, getting to know you, then we slowly enter the wonderful world of glass. We cut, polish, engrave, paint. We use the fusion furnace to reshape glass objects and give free rein to our imagination towards a more artistic second life for objects that we have kept for so long in a hidden corner of the house. The pieces that we put in the fusion furnace will be ready the next day to be taken home. Each participant brings 3 glass objects that they will work with during the two days of the workshop. We aim to use different techniques for each piece that you bring, to the extent that they allow us. The price is 150 lei/participant and includes both days of the workshop. The cost includes all necessary materials, the only exception being the glass objects that you bring from home.
